Tunel Fréjus
The entrance from the French side is near Modane. It is accessible from the A43 motorway from Chambéry,
The entrance from the Italian side is in the vicinity of Bardonecchia. It is accessible from the A32 motorway from Turin,
Toll collection points are located on both sides,
It is part of the E70 route (in the Italian road system it is designated as T4 and forms part of the country’s motorway network),
The road in the tunnel is one-way: one lane in each direction.
Important informations
The ticket is valid for 4 days from the date of booking,
Maximum permitted speed in the tunnel is: 70 km/h; minimum speed: 50 km/h,
Minimum distance between vehicles: 150 m (100 m if vehicles stopped in the middle of the tunnel),
Driving by lorry is only possible for EURO 5 and 6,
The maximum permissible height of the vehicle is: 4.30 m.

Mont Blanc Tunnel

It forms part of the E25 route (in the French road system designated as part of the national road N205 and in Italy as T1 and forms part of the country’s motorway network),

Important informations
The ticket is valid for 4 days from the date of booking,

Minimum distance between vehicles: 150 m (100 m if vehicles stopped in the middle of the tunnel),
Lorries are only allowed for EURO 5 and 6 emission classes (excluding passenger vehicles),
Access to the tunnel is prohibited for vehicles carrying dangerous goods (ADR). Transit of dangerous goods through a tunnel is subject to the conditions and restrictions of the ADR for tunnels of category E
Maximum permissible dimensions: width – 2.55 m; height – 4.05 m; length – 18.75 m.
Vehicles with a maximum permissible mass of more than 3.5 tonnes (trucks and buses) must be authorised before entering the Mont-Blanc Tunnel in the regulation, control and regulation zones of Passy-Le Fayet (France) and Aosta (Italy), located at a distance of 22 and 44 kilometres from the tunnel entrance plates respectively.
